Welcome to Sustainable Solutions North East

Sustainable Solutions North East is a Big Lottery funded programme designed to enable Third Sector organisations to engage and trade with public sector commissioners and procurers.

Delivered by a partnership of North East infrastructure organisations, the Sustainable Solutions North East programme aims to:

• Make sure commissioners and procurers understand the value of engaging with Third Sector organisations in the design and delivery of public services and develop a level playing field for organisations to tender for public sector contracts
• Ensure Third Sector organisations are able and ready to deliver public sector contracts
• Encourage collaboration and the development of consortia between Third Sector organisations in tendering for larger contracts

The Sustainable Solutions North East website features a range of workshops and events, tools and news aimed at making North East Third Sector organisations contract-ready.
